De Palma Thermofluid has its roots in the 1960s, a period characterized by the first major construction expansion. By distributing cast iron boilers and radiators for domestic heating, the De Palma family has affirmed its seriousness and professionalism.
Thanks to the increase in commercial skills, De Palma Thermofluid expanded its business, starting to represent the largest national companies that produced industrial kitchens, boilers, burners and heating systems and air treatment for large environments. Due to the evolution of the needs in the sector market and the increasing needs of customers, De Palma family began to represent companies that produced components for steam plants.
The Cristoforo De Palma’s company was born thanks to the need to create a commercial section that could always have available the spare parts and components related to the products by the company supplied. This need was initially imposed by the mandating companies and then became a real service. Cristoforo de Palma among its employees had technicians specialized in the start-up of plants and large industrial burners.
The company Cristoforo De Palma expanded its activity to the industrial sector during the regional industrialization during which there have been the establishment of the petrochemical industry in Brindisi, the steelworks in Taranto and the automotive mechanics in Bari and Foggia. Cristoforo De Palma and his collaborators attended the training courses and technical updating that in those years the manufacturers of industrial equipment organized. Thanks to this they acquired the notions that make them technicians of fame and undisputed competence to these days.
In 1990 there was the generational shift to the children Cesare and Daniela. There has been a redistribution of tasks and professional adjustment. Daniela took over as head of the administrative management, thus giving the opportunity to Mr. Cristoforo to devote himself completely to the technical and commercial activity.
Cesare took over following the natural generational change of employees. In the previous years he had, always under the careful eye of his father Cristoforo, carried out the work of warehousing and then of mechanical reviewer of reducing valves for steam. Today Cesare De Palma is responsible for the strategic management of the Company and coordinates the activities of the technical staff – composed of engineers and industrial experts. Meanwhile Daniela De Palma is the Administrative Manager of the Company and manages relations with suppliers and institutions. Operating under the continuous guidance of Mr. Cristoforo De Palma, the company works according to modern standards with a solid technical experience.
